The Bible refers to the church as a body, a building, a family, and God’s crop. All of these things have something in common- they all must be built or grown, which takes time and resources. The River is a church under construction, a body developing a family growing. We are driven by the question:

What If there was a church in El Paso who...

- was set apart for the purpose of meeting these needs in El Paso

- valued and offered loving relationships as an introduction to a relationship with God who is love

- cared more about “lives” than “numbers” and prayerfully helped each other fulfill the role in life they were created for.

- saw children and youth as a priority, not a nuisance. Who is willing to provide a FUN safe Christ centered atmosphere where children and youth can grow, experience and share “Real Life”.

- were more concerned with the growth of the Kingdom than the growth of a building.

- gathered in one place in unity each week, where the whole person is cared for: spiritually, emotionally, physically and relationally.

- formed a body teeming with life

- flowed in friendships

- flooded with love
